Hawzah News Agency- These initiatives were not isolated from previous stances, as the holy shrine recorded a remarkable humanitarian presence in supporting the Syrian people following the earthquake that caused widespread damage in 2023, through relief campaigns to provide assistance and alleviate their suffering during times of crisis.
In continuation of its humanitarian approach, the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine initiated in 2024 support and relief for the Lebanese displaced who sought refuge in Syrian territories due to the brutal aggression, by launching a comprehensive humanitarian campaign that included sending food and medical aid, in addition to organizing support convoys to meet the needs of the affected families and alleviate their suffering.
These initiatives are part of the relief campaign launched by the holy shrine to support the oppressed peoples, in response to the directives of the supreme religious authority in Najaf Ashraf, and to provide them with assistance, reflecting the spirit of responsibility and solidarity in facing crises.
